'Betty struck again': Pet owner sparks feud with her cat after repeatedly being woken up at 4 AM

Roommates tend to clash at some point, even if one of those roommates is not a human. Here's the thing: when you are sharing space with anyone other than yourself—be it a partner, a child, or a pet—there need to be some ground rules. After all, all parties want to be respected, even if there is the slightest power imbalance. For instance, obviously, when you have a pet, communication isn't exactly easy, and one being is considerably more reliant on the other for food and safety. With that in mind, owners often have to cater to their pets for the purposes of harmony in the home. 

However, as is the case with human roommates, there is always a line. A well-trained pet knows better than to wake their owner up at 4:47 in the morning just to be aggressive for no apparent reason. Keep scrolling below to see how Betty got what was coming for her!

  • We trust the author of this tale when she says that her cat Betty did not need food and was not in any sort of danger. Of course, that would be justified. However, considering the fact that cats are not the most needy of pets, Betty really does seem like a handful.
